School-based Scouting is a great program for our elementary students that takes place all year around. Students learn character building, camp songs, and survival strategies. They also participate in various community service activities. Some favorite activities include making homemade butter and learning how to read a map. All lessons are carried out with fun activities either inside the classroom or outside. Students also take field trips to the Girl Scout Office located in Kalamazoo.
