21st Century Kicks Off for Fall
Open registration is from September 7 - 10th. Programming begins on September 13th in all buildings.
21st Century Community Learning Centers provides supervision during non-school hours for children, particularly students who attend high-poverty and low performing schools. The program helps students meet state and local standards in core academic subjects, such as reading and math.
The program also provides enrichment opportunities, involves community partners, gets kids outdoors where they can be active, offers field trips that allow children to explore new interests, provides homework assistance, and much more!
The 21st Century Program is provided through Battle Creek Public Schools. The participating schools are: Ann J. Kellogg, Coburn, Dudley, Franklin, Fremont, LaMora Park, Urbandale, Valley View, Verona, Northwestern, Springfield, W.K. Kellogg, and Battle Creek Central (9th and 10th grade only).
